Pont Alexandre III
My Last Night is Paris was spent catching the metro, visiting the places I wanted to get a Photograph at night off
The The Pont Alexandre is definitely a must see especially at night if you ever go to Paris
From Wikipedia
The Pont Alexandre III is an arch bridge that spans the Seine, connecting the Champs-Élysées quarter and the Invalides and Eiffel Tower quarter, widely regarded as the most ornate, extravagant bridge in Paris.[1][2] It is classified as a historical monument.

Albert Dock
Visiting Liverpool at the moment staying at the Albert Dock.
A couple of Pictures from last Nights Walk.
From Wikipedia
The Albert Dock is a complex of dock buildings and warehouses in Liverpool, England. Designed by Jesse Hartley and Philip Hardwick, it was opened in 1846, and was the first structure in Britain to be built from cast iron, brick and stone, with no structural wood. As a result, it was the first non-combustible warehouse system in the world
Hearst Castle
If you ever get the chance to do the drives from San Francisco to Los Angeles or Vice versa make sure you take highway 1 down the coast and through the Big Sur. This is an amazing drive, with so much to see and do? One stop you cannot miss is Hearst Castle San Simeon, California, approximately 250 miles (400 km) from both Los Angeles and San Francisco.
This place is just incredible, built in 1919 for newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst, who died in 1951, he entertained many famous people there like Charlie Chaplin, Cary Grant, the Marx Brothers, Charles Lindbergh, Joan Crawford, Clark Gable, James Stewart, Bob Hope, Calvin Coolidge, Franklin Roosevelt, Dolores Del Rio, and Winston Churchill. Just to name a few. The story goes that on your first night there you sat next to the host, and then every night after that you moved down the table one place. By the time you got to the end of the table that was your reminder your visit is over and its’s time to go home.
I was just blown away when I first seen this place, the tour is fantastic I could just picture the parties and people, I could not believe that people actually lived like this back in the 1900’s.
Hearst castle also had the world’s largest private zoo until 1937 when William Randolph Hearst experienced great financial difficulty and the Zoo had to be dismantled. Most of animals had been placed by 1953, although Rocky Mountain elk, tahr goats, llamas, white fallow deer, zebras, Barbary sheep, and sambar deer can still been seen on the ranch today.
You definitely won’t be disappointed with the drive on highway 1 or the Tour of Hearst Castle, I loved it and I know you will to.
See You at the Airport

The Airport is closed
It’s 2am at the airport; we have people sleeping in the outdoor café!!
The airport closed at 11pm and won’t open until 4am
This reminded me
In my youth I spent a few nights sleeping in different airports around the world myself. My first big trip traveling solo was to San Francisco, I missed out on the flight from Los Angeles, so I had to find somewhere to sleep. Back then I was a bit scared to go and find a hotel all by myself, and thought that it would be safer to stay at the airport.
I found a corridor and to my surprise there where dozens of people sprawled out fast asleep. Tonight with the people in the outdoor café brought back lots of memories and I started to wonder about all the people around the world sleeping in airports.
I started a Google searches and came across this web site called The Guide to Sleeping in Airports. (http://www.sleepinginairports.net/) It has all this information dedicated to sleeping in Airport around the world and loads more information that all travellers will find very useful. In particular there is a list of airport’s that will provide cots. Airport Lounge information and how to sleep in the airport tips like this one
11. It’s sometimes better to arrive than depart: The Arrivals lounges are sometimes more comfortable than the Ticket Counter area. It’s amazing how different the two areas can be in some airports. Of course airport logic seems to be that people who are departing immediately go to their gates; they don’t sit around the ticket counters for hours. The arrivals lounge aims to make all those family members, who are waiting for your flight to finally arrive after a four hour delay, a little more comfortable until you and your bags finally show up. (Excerpt from sleepinginairports.net)
You never know when a snowstorm, hurricane (or erupting Icelandic volcano) will leave you stranded at the airport. So if you plan on traveling soon this web site has so much useful information even if you don’t plan on sleeping in the airport.
See you ate the aiport

Staying Conected
Staying Conected
Going on Holidays for most of us means getting away from the normal of everyday life and experiencing new and exciting things, but for some of us disconnecting from the World Wide Web and leaving our gadgets at home is just not an option. Going on holiday now means staying connected and potentially over packing with gadgets to feed that need, but don’t let your need for that social media fix spoil your holiday.
A little bit of preparation before you leave can help limit the amount of Tech you take and that impulse to check Facebook every 10 min.
- Let all friends and family know you’re going away a week before you leave, ask them to limit their e-mails, texts and phone calls while you are away. Promise to update them every few days via your Blog/Facebook or an e-mail of your adventures. Hopefully then they won’t clog up your in box’s with all those jokes.
- While you’re away try to limit the time you spend feeding that craving, I mean do you really have to Tweet /Facebook or whatever social media you’re into, every hour of the day. Put aside a half hour in your schedule to feed your craving for your social media fix. My suggestion make time at night before you go to bed and leave your days free to actually enjoy that well-earned rest,
- Limit the amount of gadgets you take with you by combining the way you use them for instances.
If you are taking your laptop you can play your music and watch movies, if you have a program like Skype installed you can also makes calls and send text’s allowing you to leave that iPod and phone at home. If you cannot live without that smart phone this can double as your camera/Video as most smart phones today have decent inbuilt cameras and are able to take HD quality video. One thing to remember though if you do bring that smart phone is avoiding those huge roaming costs. My suggestion is to leave your sim card at home and replace it with a travel sim, this way you will avoid that bill shock when you get home.
Cloud storage is another option to packing that portable hard drive as most cloud storage sites give you at least 5Gb for free, like ( Icloud 5GB Free)(Box 5GB Free)(Dropbox 2Gb Free)(Sugarsync 7Gb Free) enough storage for all those holiday snaps. So with a little preparation you can enjoy that holiday and stay connected as well.
See you at the Airport
