  1. Personally I tend to value strong content over technical perfection, especially in photojournalism. Many of the iconic photos of the 20th century are less than perfect technically. However one only need study the work of Gordon Parks to see that perfection of powerful imagery and technical excellence can be achieved. By Gordon Parks anyway! But we all can strive. Nice work, Mike.

    • Thanks Mike, Gordon Parks such a talent & not just in photography. its good to be reminded and certainly learn from amazing people such as Gordon Parks, I enjoy looking at his images very much especially his work for LIFE Magazine

  2. When I look at the original, I see lots of cropping oppertunities: a long horizontal shot of sneakers; the girl sitting on the right….etc. Nice. M ๐Ÿ™‚
