Depends upon what you’re trying to show. Both are interesting photos.
Actually, I like the cropped shot a lot.
Thanks Mike Yes I think it has something interesting !
Yes on the crop if there are enough pixels to support it.
definitely that is a big factor, one reason I shoot in raw over Jpeg . 📷
Personally I tend to value strong content over technical perfection, especially in photojournalism. Many of the iconic photos of the 20th century are less than perfect technically. However one only need study the work of Gordon Parks to see that perfection of powerful imagery and technical excellence can be achieved. By Gordon Parks anyway! But we all can strive. Nice work, Mike.
Thanks Mike, Gordon Parks such a talent & not just in photography. its good to be reminded and certainly learn from amazing people such as Gordon Parks, I enjoy looking at his images very much especially his work for LIFE Magazine
The cropped shot is much better. Good stuff.
Thanks Keith appreciate it 📷
When I look at the original, I see lots of cropping oppertunities: a long horizontal shot of sneakers; the girl sitting on the right….etc. Nice. M 🙂
Definitely, its amazing how many different images you can see in one Photograph 📷
